
Biography
Nora Augenstein is a dancer and instrumentalist from Parkersburg, West Virginia. She began her dance training at the age of three, studying ballet at Schrader Youth Ballet Company. She later also attended Factory Street Studio in Athens, Ohio for modern dance study. In 2018, Nora joined Bone & Fiddle Dance Collective as a company apprentice and traveled throughout Appalachian regions with limited arts exposure to perform contemporary dance work by Summer Logan, Ben Roach, and others. In 2026 she will graduate from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Contemporary Dance. In addition to her extensive dance training, Nora also studies mandolin, guitar, handbells, and vocal performance, among other instruments. As a performer, creator, and active artist in the room, Nora’s primary aim is interpersonal connection as a means to joyful artmaking.
